Debe's aeration system for smaller consumers is based on an air column / air charger being installed before a membrane hydrophore / hydrophore respectively.
If you have problems with iron, manganese or hydrogen sulfide then aeration of the water is the solution. Using air as an oxygenator is an environmentally sound choice and the most effective method to increase your water quality.
When water passes through the air column or air charger, oxygen is added, which means that the iron and manganese contents form larger flocks that can easily be taken care of in subsequent filters, at the same time that any hydrogen sulphide content has precipitated.
Air chargers are used for a hydrophore and air columns for membrane hydrophores.
