Laddomat MR 40

Control Equipment

Laddomat MR 40

  • Charging machine MR 40 is a charging package for boiler with built-in water heater and shunt
  • The thermal 3-way valve has 2 non-return valves so that the flow can go in two directions
  • The control centre has a separate connection centre (AC) with a total of 3 relays and 4 sensor inputs
  • All settings are made in the separate control panel

Product description

Sys 40 - Charging / discharging between boiler / tank. Charging from the boiler with built-in water heater and shunt to "clean" accumulator tank / tanks. Discharge from the tank occurs when the boiler drops in temperature. When the tank is cold, it may be switched on for additional heat.
Sys 41 - Charging / discharging between boiler / tank with burner control. For increasing water volume, for example a pellet boiler with built-in water heater and shunt. Sensors that are not used for control can be used for temperature reading in a separate menu.

Sys 40 / Sys 41
Valve package Laddomat MR 40 with:

  • Laddomat MR, complete.
  • Thermal charging and discharging valve Laddomat 41-200 with 2 built-in non-return valves.
  • 2 pcs pumps, 6 m, 130 mm.
  • 3 ball valves.
  • Submersible drainage sump pump. Connection R10, L = 50–480 mm.
  • 3 pcs 3-bulbs diving pipe for bulbs with D = 6 mm. R15, L = 150 mm.
  • 2 sensor holders and cable ties for pipe mounting.
  • EPP insulation for the thermal valve is included as standard.
  • For boiler power max 45 kW.

Function Sys 40

Charge
When heating, the boiler quickly rises to working temperature. The charge pump is started when the boiler sensor gets hot. Hot water from the boiler top is mixed with cold water from the tank bottom to about 60°C in the Laddomat 41-200 valve, and is introduced into the boiler bottom to be heated again. No risk of condensation and thus corrosion due to too low bottom temperature. Hot water with low flow is brought to the tank top, which provides efficient stratification of the heat in the tank. The warm and thus light water rises to the top of the tank without mixing with the cold water further down.

Discharge
When the heating is finished, the boiler cools down and the charge pump is stopped when the boiler sensor gets cold. When the boiler has cooled down so that the boiler sensor falls below the set temperature, the discharge pump is started and the now cold water in the bottom of the boiler is pumped over to the tank bottom. Hot water is simultaneously transferred to the top of the boiler. This is done with low flow as the Laddomat 41-200 valve is equipped with a strong throttle. An efficient layering of the heat is thus achieved in both the tank and the boiler. The discharge can only be started if the tank is hotter than the boiler.

Additional heat
The discharge is interrupted at the desired temperature on the tank sensor and then any additional heat is also started.

Function Sys 41 – Burner control + Charging / Discharging
The burner is started by the sensor in the tank top. It runs until the sensor in the tank bottom exceeds the set temperature. When the burner is stopped, the tank will be emptied gradually. When it is completely emptied and the temperature at the sensor at the top of the tank is below the set temperature, the burner is started again. The charge pump can be started either when the burner is started, or when the boiler exceeds the desired temperature.
